Welcome to St. Luke's Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology Department. Our goal is to provide a high level of service by using the latest technology available.  We strive to continually introduce and develop new imaging techniques to remain in the forefront of this ever changing industry. Radiologists and technologists staffing the department are highly skilled and trained in the specialty area in which they work. The Department of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), and meets all of the standards of quality and safety from Det Norske Veritas (DNV).  The St. Luke’s Women’s Center is the first Imaging site in Houston and Southeast Texas to be accredited in Breast MRI imaging by the American College of Radiology (ACR).  We are proud to be the premier provider of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional procedures for the world renowned Cooley Transplant Center and the St. Luke’s Center for Liver Disease.

Our Mission

The Department of Radiology, in association with St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System (SLEHS), is committed to striving for the highest standard of care. It is our purpose to provide radiologic services, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, in a safe and efficient manner. We advocate a standard of excellence and technical performance of the highest quality, evidenced by ACR accreditation and technologists registered in their field.
 
In partnership with the Texas Heart® Institute (THI), we are committed to participate in radiology education and research to improve the quality of patient care with the most advanced techniques. We remain committed to teaching residents, fellows, and radiologic technology students through affiliation with recognized universities and colleges in the Houston area.

As SLEHS reaches out into the community, Radiology will provide the necessary clinical and educational services to support these endeavors through Faithful, Loving Care®.
